We seek help from interested students of all ages, patients and the public. The overall goal for our students is to take complicated concepts and make them understandable to a specific target audience. The target audience could be a specific student population (high school students, Grade 5 students, the general public or a specific patient population).
The big question is: how do we know that what we have made is understandable, informative, useful and maybe even enjoyable? To address this concern, we have generated a “Draft Video” page. We will post videos that are “under construction” and have associated this page with an automatic form that allows users to record rankings and comments. The comments are then given back to the students making the videos, who will assess all feedback and attempt to improve their product. We have also included a section where users can indicate specific topics they would want our students to demystify.
