This video will teach you about stem cells, and the process of stem cell donation.
Did you know that you have the potential to save lives right now? The McMaster Stem Cell Club is an organization aiming to improve the present and future of regenerative medicine by empowering students, advocating for research, and conducting local fundraising to help further stem cell research. The club runs stem cell drives at McMaster, in an attempt to recruit potential stem cell donors to OneMatch, a registry that facilitates the genetic matching of patients with registered donors. This provides these individuals a second chance at life as stem cells can act as a vital cure for those in need. This video will teach you about stem cells, and the process of stem cell donation. Seek out your nearest stem cell drive to see if you can become a donor!
