Maroon’s anatomy: Low cholesterol linked to violence

This video explores the relationship between occurrences of low cholesterol and episodes of violent behaviour. It uses a study about Swedish inmates and their violent actions to show that low cholesterol and violent behaviour are linked. Interactions between a doctor and his patient result in a physical altercation, which is later discovered to be caused by low cholesterol. The intern doctors then present a detailed explanation of the science behind this relationship and attempt to show the mechanisms as to how low cholesterol really affects a person’s mood.
