This video was created to discuss the fundamentals of renal function and how different activities an individual takes part in can contribute to a decline in kidney function. The video is based on a report examining the case of renal failure in a 61-year old male with no past history of kidney disease. He was diagnosed with abdominal compartment syndrome and blunt kidney trauma after actively taking part in BDSM.
