Role of occupational therapy

This video presents information about the occupational therapy (OT) program at McMaster University as well as the requirements of admission and the different OT fields. The speaker in the video is Claudia Yousif who graduated from the Honours Life Science Co-op Program at McMaster University in 2018. For her first co-op placement, she had the opportunity to work as a research assistant at the GERAS Centre where she conducted home visits and data collection for the TRIAGE project. Claudia then did her second co-op placement at the Aging, Community and Health Research Unit as a student researcher. Claudia is now in her first year in the Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy program at the University of Toronto, working towards a career in geriatrics.
